Season 8 Preview — Fairies & Pink

Last updated: August 2026

Season 8 Overview

Season 8 begins August 7, 2026 (when Season 7 ends) on the monthly first-Friday schedule. Sonar Studios confirmed a fairies-and-pink visual theme with whimsical pass rewards and two new tier-50 world dragons — official names are still TBA after late-July art teasers showing a small fluffy dragon and a larger, sharper silhouette.

Expect the standard 100-tier structure: free track through tier 50 for one season dragon choice, Dragoneer Pass for a legacy dragon, and Drakon Pass for full premium rewards. Pair Season 8 progress with LEGO NINJAGO Catch-Up Week (through August 14) and Solstice prep (~August 14).

Finish Season 7 missions and redeem SeasonXP2 today (expires August 5) so leftover EXP is not wasted. Clear inventory space for new cosmetics and potions. If you still need NINJAGO Ultra Dragon or Great Devourer progress, plan Catch-Up Week sessions around Season 8 launch day.

Read our Season Pass guide for pricing and our monthly dragons roster for S1–S7 context. We will update this page with official dragon names the day Sonar announces them.
